Kornati National Park includes most of the islands of the Kornati archipelago, these are located in the Croatian Adriatic in central Dalmatia, west from the town Šibenik.
The total area of the park is about 220 square kilometers and consists 89 islands, islets and rocks.
The area is only about a quarter of the country, while the rest is sea ecosystem.
